Shobha Hospital is one of the old and reputed Hospitals established by the first Surgeon of Ambernath Dr. Sunil Kavathe in 1985 and shifted to new premises in 1999.
We are treating more than 1000 admit patients per year and more than 50 Opd patients per day.

Dr. Sunil M. Kavathe is a famous surgeon with 41 years of expertise, he is a Fellow of the Association of Colorectal Surgeons of India and has an M.S. General Surgery degree. Additionally, he belongs to several important medical organizations, including ASI, IASG, SGEI, and ISG.
Dr. Kavathe has the extensive surgical experience and has carried out several ground-breaking operations in the field of gastrointestinal surgery. He collaborated with Dr. Chivate to create the Trans Anal Suture Mucopexy, a revolutionary technique for painless surgery for piles (Hemorrhoids Operations), and he performed the first Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy in Ambernath in 1992.
